The Chippewa County Board of Commissioners met in Special Session on Tuesday, March 20, 2001 in the Courtroom of the Chippewa County Courthouse at 7:50 p.m.

Present: Commissioners Postula, Cooper, Dale, LaJoie, Hopper, Kay and Chairman McDowell

Also, Present: Kelly, Assistant to the Controller, Diane Cork, County Clerk, Marilyn McDonald, Treasurer, Sharon Kennedy, Register of Deeds/Equalization Director, Don Howe, Scott Brand, Brian Peppler, Prosecutor, Ron Cross, Frank Sasso, David Carpenter, Finance Director, Ruth LaJoie and Tim Dolehanty, Wexford County Administrator

It was moved by Commissioner Postula, supported by Commissioner Cooper to hire Mr. Tim Dolehanty, present Wexford County Administrator, as the Chippewa County Controller with a starting wage of $53,400 per year, negotiable Blue Cross/Blue Shield and a ninety-day probation period. On a roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.

Commissioner Kay asked when the new Controller could start and Mr. Dolehanty stated that he could start immediately by dividing his time between Chippewa County and Wexford County until Wexford County could find a replacement.

It was moved by Commissioner Kay, supported by Commissioner Cooper to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
