BUDGET WORK SESSION MEETING MINUTES
A budget work session of the Chippewa
County Board of Commissioners was held on

PRESENT: Kelly Beaune, Assistant to the
Controller, Marilyn McDonald, Treasurer, Brain Peppler, Prosecuting Attorney
and Lisa Wilcox, Office Manager.
FY 2005 Budget Presentation:
Prosecuting Attorney
Brian Peppler presented the Board with the Fy05 Budget request for the
three Departments he oversees. During
the presentation prior cuts were discussed, and that the Prosecutor’s Office
had no place else to cut, that the office is not one that makes money, and they
are currently understaffed and will be seeking additional staff. Obligations to the office continue to grow
and that the PA’s has already taken its cuts for FY04. The County future plan or lack of a plan was
also discussed. The GASBY34 was also
discussed, with Prosecuting Attorney Peppler going to follow up with further
documentation. The quantity and age of
cases was also discussed.
