CHIPPEWA COUNTY VACANCY NOTICE: Eastern Upper Peninsula Transportation Advisory Committee Second Notice
We have not received any application of interest for the EUPTA Advisory Committee.
The Chippewa County Board of Commissioners seeks to recommend the appointment of three individuals to the Eastern Upper Peninsula Transportation Advisory Committee.
The Advisory Committee should consist of members with technical skills relevant to all phases of public transportation administration and operation. Legal, financial, communications, and engineering skills are essential. Each participating public agency will make recommendations to the EUPTA Board of Directors for appointments.
Persons interested can download the application at www.chippewacountymi.gov or pick up an application form at the County Administrator’s Office, 319 Court Street, Sault Ste. Marie or call (906) 635- 6330. Applications for appointments will be accepted through Friday, November 6, 2026, until 12:00 noon at the Administrator’s Office. The recommendations will be made at the Board of Commissioners Organizational Meeting in January 2027 (date TBD).
