THE CHIPPEWA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS will hold a public hearing to consider the COUNTY’S PROPOSED 2027 BUDGET. For ZOOM instructions please go to www.chippewacountymi.gov
The County Commission may not adopt its proposed budget until after the public hearing. The proposed 2027 Budget will be available for public inspection during normal business hours at the ADMINISTRATOR’S OFFICE, 1ST FLOOR, CHIPPEWA COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 319 COURT ST., SAULT STE. MARIE, MICHIGAN, on the following dates: Monday, November 2nd through Thursday, November 12th, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive testimony and discuss the proposed budget. Following the public hearing, the Board of Commissioners may adopt its 2027 budget.
This notice is given by the order of the CHIPPEWA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS.
Public Comment
Members of the public are welcome to attend and participate during the public comment period at the beginning of the meeting.
