The Disabled American Veterans operate a vehicle from the provide free transportation to the OSCAR G JOHNSON VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain at no cost to Chippewa County Veterans.

Veterans can be picked up at the following locations: 
 

• Chippewa County

• Mackinac County

• Luce County    

• Schoolcraft

Veterans should contact the Chippewa County Veteran Service Office; two-weeks prior to the scheduled appointment. 
Please provide the following information on the voicemail:
 

• Veteran's full-name

• Veteran's primary phone number

• Date of appointment

• Time of appointment

• Pick-Up location

• Last four of Veteran's Social Security number 

The Chippewa County Veteran Service Office will contact the Veteran to validate the information given and provide further instructions.
