The Disabled American Veterans operate a vehicle from the Jacobetti Veterans Home and provide free transportation to the OSCAR G JOHNSON VA Medical Center at no cost to Chippewa County Veterans.

Veterans can be picked up at the following locations: 
 

• Jacobetti Home for Veterans, Marquette

• Holiday Gas Station, Negaunee

• Holiday Gas Station, Ishpeming 

• Koski Korners, BP Gas Station in Humboldt Township

• True Value Hardware, South Republic    

Veterans should contact the DAV Ride Coordinator; two-weeks prior to the scheduled appointment. 
Please provide the following information on the voicemail:
 

• Veteran's full-name

• Veteran's primary phone number

• Date of appointment

• Time of appointment

• Pick-Up location

• Last four of Veteran's Social Security number 

The DAV Ride Coordinator will contact the Veteran to validate the information given and provide further instructions. 

The DAV is seeking qualified drivers to support the volunteer transportation network.
