The Chippewa County Recycling Committee oversees the operation of the Chippewa County Recycling Center operated by the Northern Transitions, Inc. and funded by.50 mills levied throughout Chippewa County. The committee consists of members appointed by the County Board if Commissioners; Sault Ste. Marie Commission and by the Chippewa County Township Association; and by Northern Transitions, Inc.
