Chippewa County Prosecuting Attorney

The Prosecuting Attorney is the chief law enforcement official in the County. The Prosecutor reviews, authorizes and prosecutes violations of felony and misdemeanor criminal laws committed inside the County. He represents the People in criminal matters before the District and Circuit Courts. He represents and advises the County Board of Commissioners. The Prosecuting Attorney is elected to a 4 year term by the voters of Chippewa County on a partisan ballot in the November general election.
